Jill Margraff

Jill Margraff has a passionate thirst for life, art and culture. She is an artist, an entrepreneur and an enthusiastic communications specialist. After graduating American University in Washington, DC with a Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design, Jill began honing her own artistic vision and voice as an emerging graphic designer and creative director. That was 26 years ago. Today, as the founder of Margraffix, Jill continues to feed her thirst for creative thinking by providing the highest possible level of service and creativity for her clients.

Today, Jill Margraff combines the talents of a strong, strategic creative designer with the ability to manage projects both large and small. Her background is varied, starting inhouse for international corporations Honeywell and GlaxoSmithKline (SmithKline Beecham). Breaking out into agency work, she has worked for clients as diverse as Brother International, The Big 5 Basketball League, Ritz Carlton, Intel-Saffron and Yards Brewing Company.

Jill’s career eventually lead her to the performing arts, helping them to grow their subscription base through print in collaboration with website development, along with social media networking. Some of those clients include People’s Light & Theatre in Malvern, the third largest theatre company in PA, The EPC Center in Effingham, Ill, Society of the Performing Arts (SPA) in Houston, TX, The Long Center and the Paramount Theatre in Austin, TX and the Hopkins Center for the Arts at Dartmouth University.

Jill now specializes in website design, development and marketing. Margraffix recently worked with Intel-Saffron, helping the company's marketing department develop an app to help clients understand and visualize complex data about their customers. She works with CASA Youth Advocates, designing their website and all all marketing materials and social media campaigns, helping them raise awareness and funds. American Hearing Aids Association (AHAA) is also a major client, as Jill initially helped launch SecondSenseHearing.com and now works with AHAA developing intranet sites and marketing apps.

Jill is an American University graduate with a BA in Graphic Design and has done post graduate studies at the School of Visual Arts and Parsons School of Design in NYC. In her personal time, Jill enjoys biking, skiing, yoga and hiking with her dog Patton. She has completed the MS Bike ride to the shore three times and serves on the Board of Director's for both SafeHome Philadelphia and Pathways to Housing.
